Description

This comic was created for Indigenous youths and focuses on the relationship between marijuana and anxiety, as well as alcohol and depression. The comic aims to raise awareness about these mental health issues among young Indigenous people. It also includes information on the signs and symptoms of depression, how to stay strong, and where to go for help. The script was developed by Indigenous youths in Queensland and uses language and artwork that will appeal to young people.

When to use this resource

This resource uses a creative approach for engaging young Indigenous people about mental health issues. It should be made available in places where young people spend a lot of time, such as school, youth centres, or health clinics.
