This short podcast is one of a series of messages providing information about otitis media (ear disease). It was produced as part of the Listen `ear: a Murri and Ailan ear health campaign, a local initiative of the National Indigenous ear health campaign, Care for kids' ears. The podcast includes a culturally appropriate explanation of otitis media and information on the health and development consequences, symptoms, and prevention of the disease delivered by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander presenters. It runs for 45 seconds.
The Listen `ear messages were originally aired on Indigenous radio station, 98.9fm, for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander listeners in south-east Queensland and were funded by the Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing.
