Description

Bran nue leg is a 25 minute video developed to raise awareness of the increasing numbers of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander youth developing diabetes. It promotes living a healthy lifestyle to avoid the onset of diabetes.

The video was developed by a Perth podiatrist and a Broome entertainer, himself a diabetic amputee.

In 2014 a companion video was developed titled: Bran Nu Leg part 2: Deadly (and not in a good way).

Please note: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander viewers are advised this video may contain images of people who have passed away.
