Description

This learning guide is designed as a companion to the Rural Health Education Foundation's Diabetes and Indigenous Australians series of professional development programs.

The programs are based on the new NHMRC endorsed type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DN) clinical guidelines, and are designed to assist clinicians, health services and policy makers with a focus on prevention, detection, and management of type 2 diabetes.

The learning guide includes activities that are designed to facilitate group discussion and engage with the material covered in the DVD, including highlighting key issues raised in each of the programs, which include:
