Description

Merle is a lung cancer survivor who shares her story alongside her daughter, Valda who is a registered nurse. Merle and Valda give a candid yet reassuring account of the challenges of telling family members about Merle's cancer diagnosis and about the experience of leaving home to have treatment in the city.

This video is part of the Supporting People With Cancer project within the Albury/Wodonga Aboriginal community. This project was led by Lung Foundation Australia in partnership with Hume Regional Integrated Cancer Service and funded by Cancer Australia.
