This resource package includes activities and resources that have been developed for teachers and other educators to provide information to students about the issues surrounding the forced removal of Indigenous people in Australian history. Each activity has an aim, and teaching and learning strategies. The activities are suitable for students from Year 5 onwards.

The activities are divided into four broad subject areas:

When to use this resource

These resources can be used by teachers, community educators, and others with students at a year 5 level or above. The resources will help students to develop a thorough understanding of the issues surrounding the forced removal of Indigenous Australian people and the ongoing impact this has had on Indigenous peoples.
