The Program of Experience in the Palliative Approach (PEPA) is an initiative of the Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing, funded through the National palliative care program. PEPA offers Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Workers the opportunity to participate in a combination of workshop and clinical placements with palliative care specialist services and community nursing services. As part of this initiative, several learning guides for Indigenous Health Workers undertaking a PEPA placement were developed. These guides contain covers depicting Indigenous artwork, which have different cultural relevance depending on the State or Territory the guide was produced for.
