Description

This CD was produced for Aboriginal carers to help with relaxation and stress reduction. The CD guides listensers through a relaxation session which runs for approximately 15-20 minutes. The soundtrack features didgeridoo music and singing by an Aboriginal artist/musician. Aboriginal carers in New South Wales (NSW) can obtain one free copy of the CD. Carers outside of NSW and service providers can obtain copies of the CD at a small cost.

When to use this resource

This CD would be a useful resource for any Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person who provides ongoing care for someone who has a mental illness, disability, or chronic condition - particularly those who are having difficulty managing the stress associated with being a carer.
