This DVD has been developed for health or drug workers counselling Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients with drug or alcohol problems. It demonstrates evidence-based best practice in alcohol or other drug-related counselling for clients and their families. This resource is a valuable tool for health practitioners (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander or non Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander) who work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients with alcohol or other drug-related problems. It will assist practitioners in developing their counselling skills which may improve the health and wellbeing outcomes for their clients. It could also be used as an educational tool for training programs involving drug and other health workers.
