Description

This document provides national guidelines for the management of effluent, and describes the principles and practices for good effluent management.

The guideline deals with effluent from wastewater treatment plants for domestic and industrial wastes, and does not cover effluent discharged directly to the environment or to cases where raw sewage is applied to land as part of the treatment process.
