This DVD explores the health impacts of smoking during pregnancy; on the mother and the unborn child, and on young children. A range of smoking cessation strategies are discussed including consideration of their most effective delivery. Cessation strategies specifically designed for intervention with Indigenous women are also discussed including a filmed case study of research into the development of culturally specific smoking intervention strategies for pregnant Indigenous women.
