The guides are easy to read and follow a similar layout; each guide begins with a quote or setting, followed by tips for help in relation to the topic, and finishing with a key message. Contact information for organisations who can offer further help is also provided in each guide.
Australian Indigenous HealthInfoNet abstract
These guides are a useful resource for parents, guardians, and health professionals as they include valuable information that may help to build the skills and confidence of parents and other child carers. The guides can also be used to promote the importance of good parenting for children's and young people's social and emotional wellbeing. The guides may be a useful resource to have at local medical services or community centres for workers to hand out to parents and those caring for children.
