HPV School Vaccination Program
Australian Department of Health and Ageing
This poster aims to raise awareness about the human papillomavirus (HPV) among the parents of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young women and men. It provides information on the vaccination available to protect young women and men against the virus which can cause many cancers and diseases. It also indicates the need for parents to sign a consent form for their children to receive the vaccinations.
The poster is part of a resource package developed for the National HPV vaccination program. The program is for all Australian young women and men. Vaccinations are delivered through schools, and community health clinics in some remote areas of Australia.
