Description

This flipchart is part of the Indigenous resources series, Keep culture, life and family strong - know early about diabetes. It looks at the risk factors for developing gestational diabetes and the steps women can take to look after their health during pregnancy. It includes information on the importance of having a glucose tolerance test six weeks after the baby is born and how staying healthy can benefit the whole family.

In addition there is a diabetes in pregnancy poster that illustrates how a mother's behaviour can influence whether her baby is born healthy or sick.
