Indigenous worker wellbeing resource (2012)

Description

This resource package is designed for Indigenous workers who respond to alcohol and other drug (AOD) issues in their field of work. The package comprises the following resources:

• Stories of resilience: Indigenous alcohol and other drug workers' wellbeing, stress and burnout [report]
• Indigenous AOD workers' wellbeing, stress and burnout: findings from an online survey [report]
• Indigenous alcohol and drug workforce challenges: a literature review of issues related to Indigenous AOD workers' wellbeing, stress and burnout [report]
• CD-rom containing the above reports.

The target audience of this resource includes:

• Aboriginal Health Workers
• Aboriginal mental health workers
• Aboriginal liaison officers
• Indigenous doctors
• nurses
• community health workers
• social workers
• AOD clinicians
• mobile patrol staff.
