Description

This factsheet was produced to raise awareness about mania among Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. The factsheet uses flowcharts and drawings that are culturally appropriate and relevant to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

The following questions are addressed:

• what is mania?
• what makes me manic?
• what change helps if you are manic?
• how do you make change?

The factsheet was produced as part of a resource package by the Australian Integrated Mental Health Initiative (AIMHI).

This factsheet can be used by health professionals when working with Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander clients with mania. The information presented can be used to guide clients on how to manage mania, and who can help.
