Overview

The Northern Territory (NT) through Amity Community Services provides Drink driver education courses which consist of two nationally accredited education modules. There is a mainstream course for the broader NT community and a customised course appropriate for delivery to Aboriginal communities.

Since 1995, it has been a requirement for individuals who have lost their drivers licence as a result of a drink driving offence to successfully complete the course to regain their licence.

The course aims to provide participants with information and skills to enable them to make informed decisions regarding their future drink driving behaviour.
