Maternity Immunisation Allowance

 

Overview

The Maternity Immunisation Allowance is a program run through Centrelink and the Family Assistance Office. It offers a non-income tested payment to parents to encourage them to immunise their children. The first payment will be made if a child is immunised between 18 and 24 months and a second payment will be made if the child is immunised between four and five years of age. Several eligibility criteria exists in relation to these payments and parents are encouraged to view further information on the website or contact the Family Assistance Office.
