Aboriginal and remote communities power supply project



The Aboriginal and remote communities power supply project (ARCPSP) aimed to:

The project was delivered by Horizon Power. It consisted of two phases and is now complete.

Phase 1, funded by the WA and Australian governments, covered the communities of Bidyadanga, Beagle Bay, Djarindjin, Lombadina, Ardyaloon and Warmun. Phase 2, funded by the WA Government only, covered the communities of Kalumburu and Yungngora.

No other phases are planned at this time, however, there is ongoing funding to maintain and operate the electricity supply in communities funded to date through this program.
