Building Research Evidence to Address Aboriginal Tobacco Habits (BREATHE)

 

Overview

This project was funded by the Australian Respiratory Council and aims to:

The BREATHE Project design was a community-randomised controlled trial, where six of 12 participating communities were randomly selected to receive the intervention. This allowed the impacts of having a specialist Tobacco Control Worker in ACCHSs (the intervention) to be compared with ACCHSs that continued with usual care.

The program intervention ended in March 2010.
