The overall aim of the Younger people with disability in residential aged care (YPIRAC) program was to reduce the numbers of younger people with disability living in nursing homes throughout Western Australia (WA).

The YPIRAC program was a joint initiative of the WA Disability Services Commission and the Australian Government Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs. It was implemented in July 2006 and ran for five years.
