Improving food supply for remote towns and Aboriginal communities

 

Overview

The aims of this work are to bring about increased awareness of rural food supply issues, and commence intersectoral and community action to improve rural food supply. Four main projects have been undertaken: The Food in Rural SA Survey, The Nutrition and Food Security in Remote South Australian Aboriginal Communities Project, The Food Supply in Rural SA Forum and Action Group, and The Eat Well Outback SA Project.
