Overview

This rehabilitation program is provided by Aboriginal and Islander Alcohol Relief Service Limited. Residents of the centres are encouraged to stay for three months and actively participate in all the activities being offered. Payment for board and lodging are negotiated. Current policies recommend that no aggressive intoxicated person will be admitted into the facility.

Upon admission, clients with an ongoing need for service benefits are assisted; from continued accommodation support, advocacy, transport assistance, ongoing medical assistance, referral to doctors, dentist, optometrists, other specialists, physio and other on-going health care services, social outings, shopping assistance and regular nutritious meals.
