Overview

PASH With a Twist is a peer education, sexual health promotion program aimed at young people aged 15 to 19 years. The program evolved from the original PASH program and focuses, in greater detail, on social and emotional issues that impact on sexual health.

PASH With a Twist is a four day training program where participants gain sexual health knowledge and develop skills that allow them to run PASH groups. This approach enables sexual health information to be disseminated in an environment that is safe, informal, and fun.

The premise of PASH With a Twist is to inform young people about sexual health thus minimising a range of problems such as sexually transmissible infections, HIV/AIDS, unwanted sex, and unplanned pregnancies.
