Young men's support service

 

Overview

The Young men's support service (YMSS) was an outreach support service for young men who were involved with the child protection and/or youth justice systems and living in Melbourne's north/west metropolitan region.

The program provided support for young men aged 14-20 years on a strengths based model, to empower them to make positive decisions about their lives by addressing issues of isolation, disconnection, lack of positive peer relationships and institutionalisation.
