Aboriginal health project

 

Overview

Kirketon Road Centre (KRC) employ an Aboriginal Health Project Officer to explore and address any specific needs with respect to HIV prevention, sexual health and illicit drug use within the KRC Aboriginal client community in Sydney, New South Wales. The Aboriginal worker is also actively involved in community education and training to sensitise mainstream HIV and drug services to Aboriginal-specific needs, as well as to support Aboriginal-specific services with respect to information, training and resources regarding HIV prevention, sexual health and illicit drug use.
