Project Ice Mildura



Project Ice Mildura was a community based campaign which aimed to promote awareness about the harmful effects of using ice (crystal methamphetamine). The campaign sought to counter the influence of ice in the community which had become the second most common illicit drug in Mildura, Victoria, after cannabis.

Free information sessions for businesses, community groups or organisations were requested to help improve local awareness about ice.

The main campaign ran from September 2013 to July 2014, with information sessions continuing into 2015. This community awareness and education project was an initiative of the Northern Mallee Community Partnership.
