Help me stay strong

Overview

The Help me stay strong program aims to increase the immunisation rates of Indigenous children in South Australia to the target of 95%.

The program involves a campaign that targets parents, caregivers and family members of Indigenous children aged between zero and four years, with a specific focus on children aged between zero and six months.

In particular, the program aims to improve the timeliness of vaccination for vaccines due at 2, 4 and 6 months of age, by distributing postnatal information packages to new mothers after they give birth and before leaving the hospital.

This program is an initiative of SA Health.
