Lakalinjeri Tumbetin Waal (LTW) Frahns Farm

Overview

Lakalinjeri Tumbetin Waal (LTW) is a non-medical 'dry' rehabilitation centre located on Frahns Farm at Monarto in South Australia. Clients live-in for a 12 week period and are assisted to recover from alcohol or other drug use issues via a number of programs.

LTW adopts a holistic approach by treating the underlying grief as well as the disorder. The programs offered encompass traditional cultural methods of teaching and learning, which aim to increase the effectiveness of the recovery process.

There are four key strategic directions focused on at LTW:

LTW can provide facilitates for up to 10 residents at a time, who will have access to a manager, caseworker/counsellor and senior rehabilitation caseworker. Prior to entry, clients must take a needs assessment with Aboriginal Sobriety Group Inc's Assessment, Referral and Counselling team to ensure they are ready for treatment.
