Strong fathers strong families

This program is an initiative of the Carbal Medical Centre in Toowoomba, Queensland, and promotes the important role of dads, pops and uncles in being healthy role models and engaging fully in their child's life as early as possible.

The aim of the program is to improve the ability of Indigenous men to contribute positively to the health and well being of their children.

The Carbal Medical Centre is an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Controlled Health Organisation (ATSICCHO) that delivers culturally safe and secure health and medical services to the Indigenous community of Toowoomba.

Strong fathers strong families is funded by the Office for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health.
