The sacred site within healing centre program

Overview

This program focuses on providing grief and counselling services to Indigenous people together with presenting forums and training sessions to government and community organisations on the implications for Indigenous people and their communities when grief and trauma issues are left unresolved. Strategies implemented throughout the program include, for example, recreating men's and women's business and ceremonies, and rites of passage for young Indigenous people.
