The Tiwi pakajura primary prevention program is a placebo controlled trial seeking to determine whether medical treatment can delay or prevent the onset of hypertension, kidney disease and diabetes in Aboriginal adults. Potential participants may also benefit through having their health status re-examined during the eligibility assessment process.
