Tiwi Pakajura Primary Prevention Program

Overview

The Tiwi Pakajura Primary Prevention Program was a placebo controlled trial seeking to determine whether medical treatment can delay or prevent the onset of hypertension, kidney disease and diabetes in Aboriginal adults.

The study was designed so that participants would benefit from having their health status re-examined during the course of the program.
