Overview

The Prevention of alcohol related crime and trauma (PACT) project aimed to introduce screening and brief interventions for high risk drinkers who were admitted to hospital with facial trauma. It also evaluated the implementation of a best practice pathway. Findings from this project will inform future hospital-based injury prevention strategies and allow a direct transfer of those findings to clinical practice.
