Wurli-Wurlinjang diabetes day program

Overview

This program has been running every Thursday since July 2008 at the Wurli-Wurlinjang Health Service and was developed to improve the well being of clients with type 2 diabetes.

The program provides a culturally appropriate, sustainable and holistic service for people suffering from the disease. It also supports clients to improve the management of diabetes related co-morbidities such as coronary artery disease, hypertension, dyslipidemia, obesity, renal disease and social and emotional issues.
