Community services and assistance project (Gumala Aboriginal Corporation)

 

Overview

Gumala Aboriginal Corporation (GAC) provided a range of services for local communities in the Pilbara region of Western Australia (WA) through the Community services and assistance project. These included:

GAC also successfully implemented a Recycling project in 2009-2010, where recycling trailers were delivered to four communities as part of an aim to provide more waste disposal facilities.

Gumala Aboriginal Corporation still provide a number of services to communities across the Pilbara region of WA, however the Community services and assistance project is no longer operational.
