Overview

Murundhu dharaa is a midwifery-led maternal, child and family health model of care initiative run in New South Wales. The services include antenatal and postnatal care, birth support, childhood and adult immunisation, well women's screening and child health checks (up to 14 years). They also provide birth support at the local hospital, with the option to birth at Murundhu dharaa or in the client's home.

This service primarily targets women and their babies to improve their outcomes. The service prides itself on their continuum of care model that fosters a positive relationship with the community.
