Community activity programs through education - Indigenous Police and Citizen Youth Club (Cape PCYC)

Overview

This program was designed to use sport and recreation to keep Indigenous youth, aged 8-23, active as a way of reducing issues associated with boredom. The program aims to build resilience and provide support for the development of individual skills. Cape Indigenous PCYC's are located in Yarrabah, Napranum, Wujul Wujul and Hope Vale and provide activities, centred on sport, diet, music and art.
