No more boondah is a program developed by Winnunga Nimmityjah Aboriginal Health Service that assists people to identify why they smoke, what triggers their smoking and what strategies can help to avoid or delay their smoking. No more boondah runs a weekly one hour support group but can also provide phone support, outreach and follow up for those that find it difficult to attend the weekly session. Through Winnunga's doctors the program offers access to quit smoking products such as nicotine replacement therapy - patches, inhalers and gum - as well as oral treatments: Champix and Zyban.
Weekly support groups run every Thursday from 11:00-12:00, meeting in Winnunga's reception area.
