Description

The Role and scope of practice for Credentialled Diabetes Educators (CDEs) in Australia has been developed to clearly articulate the role and full scope of practice of CDEs in order to demonstrate their unique and integral role in the provision and advancement of diabetes care and the speciality practice of diabetes self management education.

This document reflects the position of their unique and integral role in enabling people with diabetes manage their condition and as part of the multidisciplinary diabetes care team.
