Description

FASD PosterMaker is a free, easy to use app, designed to make locally relevant and culturally appropriate resources on Fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASD). FASD PosterMaker comes with pre-loaded messages and images that can be used to create local health promotion resources.

The FASD PosterMaker is available to download as a web app for computer users, or as an app from the Apple iTunes store for iPad.

The FASD PosterMaker was developed by The Frontier Group for the National Drug Research Institute (NDRI) at Curtin University as part of the National Foetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASD) resources project, and was developed with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities across Australia.

Funding for this project was provided by the Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing under the National Drug Strategy. NDRI is supported by funding from the Australian Government under the Substance misuse prevention and service improvement grants fund.

When to use this resource

FASD PosterMaker is a health promotion tool that can assist health professionals working in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health care settings to address the issues of alcohol and pregnancy and Foetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASD).

The FASD PosterMaker is available to download as a web app for computer users or as an app from the Apple iTunes store for iPad.
