Shire of Derby/West Kimberley

 

Description

The Shire of Derby/West Kimberley covers an area of 118,560 square kilometres and includes the main towns of Derby and Fitzroy Crossing and numerous Aboriginal communities. A number of services are provided by the Shire for Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people, for example:

The Shire also provides environmental health services to Aboriginal communities within their governing region with the employment of two Aboriginal field support officers.
