The South Australian Network of Drug and Alcohol Services (SANDAS), formed in 2004, is a not for profit organisation funded by the Department of Health, Drug and Alcohol Services SA, the Department of Health and Ageing, and the Alcohol, Education and Rehabilitation Foundation. SANDAS is the peak body for non-government alcohol and other drug organisations in SA, providing leadership, advocacy, coordination, and facilitating communication between member organisations. SANDAS aims to effectively support and represent the needs of its members thereby improving the delivery of alcohol and other drug services in SA.
