Orana Haven is a hostel located in north west New South Wales that provides a rehabilitation service for Aboriginal people. Orana Haven's primary goal is to reduce the levels and incidence of harm associated with alcohol and other drug use by residents of the Murdi Paaki/Orana Region. The service is an initiative of the Aboriginal communities of this region in response to the need for a safe, understanding, and culturally sensitive sanctuary for Aboriginal people with alcohol and other drug use problems.
