Malabam Health Board Aboriginal Corporation (MHBAC)



Malabam Health Board Aboriginal Corporation (MHBAC) is an incorporated community controlled Aboriginal organisation which operates under a Board of Management. MHBAC facilitates the delivery of quality primary health services and programs to the community of Maningrida and surrounding outstations in the Northern Territory, by providing funding for medical and allied health services to Maningrida Health Clinic.

Services include:

MHBAC also operates a residential aged care facility, youth services programs including a Youth Centre, Gurrutu raypirri, men's healing program and a community Social and emotional well being program, which provides support to individuals and families dealing with mental health issues.

The organisation also provides unique mentoring and training support to assist in retention of local employees, and to ensure that career pathways and further education opportunities are identified and made accessible to them.
