Description

Gugan Gulwan Youth Aboriginal Corporation's vision is to provide a safe and supportive environment for Indigenous young people and their families where they may gather and discuss issues that concern them and gain access to information, referral, counselling and remedial services. Culturally appropriate programs are developed and include:

• Drug and alcohol program
  
  • the drug and alcohol team assist youth aged 15 to 25 years with appointments, rehabilitation and detox, support during court proceedings, and dual diagnosis issues
• Street beat program
  • a street-based outreach program which provides outreach to youth during the hours of 6pm-3am two nights a week rotating over Thursday/Friday/Saturday.
