CEITC, which is funded by the Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing, aims to aid the growth in knowledge about Indigenous tobacco control by bringing together knowledge from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations and tobacco control organisations from around the country. The Centre promotes the Indigenous Tobacco Control Online Network, where members can exchange information and receive regular updates on Indigenous tobacco control. CEITC's largest projects focus on health worker training and resource development.
