Description

Kirketon Road Centre provides a comprehensive range of heatlh services. Located in Kings Cross in Sydney, New South Wales, the centre primarily targets 'at risk' youth, sex workers, and injecting drug users. Services provided by the centre include:

• sexual health screening and treatment of STIs
• methadone maintenance
• anonymous medical treatment
• primary care of HIV infection and AIDS related conditions
• family planning advice, contraception, pregnancy testing, and counselling
• alcohol and other drug treatment and counselling.

The centre employs an Aboriginal health education officer who addresses the specific needs of Aboriginal clients.
