Strategic Inter-Governmental Forum on Physical Activity and Health (SIGPAH)

Description

In 1999, the Strategic Inter-Government forum on Physical Activity and Health (SIGPAH) was established under the auspices of the National Public Health Partnership, as the collaborative body to coordinate a national approach in supporting health-promoting physical activity in Australia. SIGPAH seeks to encourage all Australians to be physically active to improve health and wellbeing. SIGPAH's work will assist the National Public Health Partnership in its aim to protect and promote the health of all Australians.
