Aboriginal Medical Services Alliance Northern Territory (AMSANT)

 

Description

AMSANT are the peak body for Aboriginal community controlled services in the Northern Territory. They advocate for high quality primary health care services that meet the needs of Aboriginal communities. AMSANT are invovled in the provision of many services including GP education and training, a workforce unit dedicated to assisting members in providing high quality primary health care services, primary clinical care services, and preventive care services. Controlling the prevalence of sexually transmissible infections is one area of prevention AMSANT focuses on.
