Carnarvon Medical Service Aboriginal Corporation (CMSAC)

 

Description

The Carnarvon Medical Service Aboriginal Corporation (CMSAC) is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service. CMSAC provides health services to the Carnarvon community and surrounding communities of:
  • Mungullah
  • Gascoyne Junction (Wodgemia Community)
  • Burringurrah.
Health areas covered by the service include:
  • specialist services
  • sexual health
  • dental/oral health
  • home visits
  • physiotherapy
  • diabetes management
  • outreach clinics to Shark Bay and Coral Bay
  • general health consultations.

Programs include:

  • Bringing them home
  • Closing the gap
  • Western Australia footprint youth program
  • Stronger families culture program
  • Health and community care (HACC) program.
